Nobel prize for painting ! sounds strange and it is because there has been no such award since Nobel prize is given to someone who does something phenomenal in field of science, economics etc.No doubt that these awards have been given to some extra ordinary person be it Amartya Sen an Indian (for economics), Prof John Nash, American(for Mathematics).
Well there is a man who deserves something as he is best in the business, business of painting. No doubt that painter is one who portrays the true image of our society. This man is lost today or may have not got his true respect he ought to get, he is Painter Iman Maleki from Iran. A true magician who uses his canvas and true colors giving a real and live painting.
Iman Maleki was born on 1976 in Tehran. He has been fascinated by the art of Painting since he was a child. At the age of 15, he started to learn painting under the mastery of his first and only teacher – Morteza Katouzian – who is a renowned painter of Iran.

Inam,
Your captivating painting of two young girls reading a book.
Under the gloomy sky engrossed in there on world,
Shawls falling softly from their shoulders,
The intricate work shown on the carpet,
The innocent attentive eyes of the girls,
The skyscrapers in the back ground,
The washed out wall by years of rain and sunlight,
The soft folds on their garments,
The light blue faded jeans,
I have no word to describe your painting
