Though in his will Jackson wishes for his body to be cremated and sprinkled over the surface of the moon but since his finances have taken a downturn it is next to impossible.In an online contest where 1.6 million people have registered around 8750 received two free tickets to the event.
Live telecast and special coverage of funeral from staples Stadium in Los Angles will be done by CBS and KGBT-TV on Tuesday 7th July’09 between 12:00-1:30 pm pacific standard timings.Many websites and Media companies would be live streaming the ceremonial and they are more likely to get slow for the next few hours of ceremony as millions of fans around the world are eagerly waiting to witness the funeral procession of their King.
Celebrities and personalities who are attending the funeral are civil rights leader Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III,basketball stars Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant,singers Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Usher and Lionel Richie, and Motown records founder Berry Gordy are among who’s who of Music,social and political World taking part in Michael Jackson’s memorial.
