We have been witnessing various innovative ways to cut cost during this hard time of Recession for last 2 years. Every time we hear about lay offs and cost cutting mainly in corporate across the globe.Merger and acquisition has now become the part in every industry to save the ship.Management is leaving no stone unturned to save every single dollar which is considered as savings.
It has become normal nowadays for employees to receive pink slip at their workplace once they swipe their card and enter in office.Power saving by each employee is another efficient way to cut cost. Less no. of print out which actually adds a huge cost to company is another way to curb recession.
Even some companies in US have removed soap from toilet and sweeper now visits once in a week which is quite infrequent.Telephone equipments are now shared among employees and coffee vending machines are now less in number.
But recently i came across an innovative way to fight against recession in a office.Pictures below will tell you the whole story.
Firstly the back support of a chair was removed and then……….
…it was shared between two employees.Really it deserves an award for “Best Idea to fight against Recession”.May be you can implicate the same in your office till the time dragon is alive.
