After 36 days of high drama ,ups and down its finally over,DLF IPL season 2 with Deccan chargers emerging as new and unvanquished winner. Very few thought about their success since they finished at the bottom of the table last season but Deccans were highly charged this time to grab the trophy and cricket being the game of uncertainty ,every speculations fails tills the last bowl, and the same happened here.Though Royal challengers gave a tough competition by barring Deccan chargers under 150 and Anil kumble roaring from the very first over,hitting biggies like Gilchrist and Symonds right onto their wicket end up watching his team fall short by 6 runs.
The match had everything to offer to cricket fans and can be tagged as a complete entertaining 20-20 match as everyone had his own expectation till the last bowl of match and thought that RV Uthappa of Royal challengers Banglore (RCB)will hit Sixes in last two bowls but Deccans were in no mood to lose one of the most prestigious title in the world of cricket and remunerated their poor performance in last season of IPL with Gibbs scoring 53 of 48 deliveries and PP Ojha taking 3 important wickets .

The closing ceremony witnessed performance by world renowned singer Akon and sizzling performance by Bolllywood actress katrina kaif on Oscar winning song Jai Ho. With President of South Africa giving vote of thanks to Lalit Modi,honorable commissioner and chairman of IPL, Bollywood stars and others for hosting IPL in their country which attracted International tourist from across the globe and boosting Tourism Industry of South Africa, it was time to set the stadium on fire with gorgeous lady walking down the stage with elegance and Dune Kossatz winning Miss IPL Bollywood competition. Ms. IPL Bollywood was crowned by Akon and the audience went crazy when he rushed towards them saying “I think I am far from my people” making way into their hearts.

With participation and celebration all around the world with just 2 season over, Indian premier league(IPL) remains one of the most sought out sports and will give tough competition to 17 years old EPL in the coming years.
